Fabric that allows you to talk to AI and control devices.
Researchers from an international team have developed A-Textile, a new type of fabric that uses electrostatic phenomenon to record sound. This smart, flexible layer can turn everyday clothing into a microphone that allows direct communication with artificial intelligence systems. In traditional wearables, the problem has been stiff, heavy and insensitive acoustic sensors. In A-Textile, the researchers took a completely different approach - based on triboelectricity, the same phenomenon that causes clothes to be able to 'electrify'.
When the wearer speaks, the sound waves cause microscopic vibrations in the fabric, causing the layers to rub against each other and generate small electrical charges. These in turn are transformed into a signal corresponding to the sound of speech. The fabric is able to pick up human speech with high precision even in noisy environments.
The signal generated by the fabric is sent wirelessly to a device - such as a smartphone - where a deep learning model analyses the data and recognises the commands. The neural network model used (2D CNN) classifies signals with an accuracy of up to 97.5 per cent (in laboratory tests, 93.5 per cent for 10 different voice commands).
The system makes it possible to control IoT devices, such as turning on or off air conditioning, lighting, a TV or a cleaning robot. What's more, when combined with a generative AI model such as ChatGPT, the user can carry out conversations, get answers and perform complex tasks - all by voice, without the need for additional devices.
Intelligent image analysis in Sunell devices.
Similar to intelligent motion detection, the intelligent image analysis functions in Sunell cameras are based on deep learning algorithms, which enables precise recognition of people and vehicles. This in turn significantly reduces false alarms caused by irrelevant objects. Recordings can be quickly filtered to find those objects of interest.

DIPOL SMART HORIZON - now with 5 - 12 V power supply.
A new version of the DVB-T2 SMART HORIZON COMBO A2270 antenna has been launched in DIPOL's offer. The DVB-T2 DIPOL SMART HORIZON TV antenna has been improved in terms of amplifier electronics and impedance matching circuitry, allowing for more stable reception of DVB-T2 signals in various field conditions. The modified amplifier board provides better impedance matching between the antenna and coaxial cable, resulting in lower signal losses, higher usable signal levels and noise reduction. An unquestionable advantage of the new antenna design is the wide range of DC 5...24 V power supply in active mode, so that the antenna can be powered from both a DVB-T2 tuner and an external power supply.- passive - default operating mode. The maximum antenna gain is then 5.7 dBi for the VHF band and 12.5 dBi for the UHF band.
- active - mode activated with voltage DC 5...24 V (it is necessary to use power supply - not included in the set or from the receiver). In this mode the signal is additionally amplified by about 20 dB in the VHF and UHF bands.
Redirecting calls from the Villa Hikvision IP door/gate station directly to a smartphone.
1-subscriber Villa Hikvision IP video door stations have the ability to be directly added to the Hikvision cloud and redirect calls to a smartphone with the Hik-Connect app installed without the need for an additional internal monitor (otherwise a monitor is always required). To use this functionality connect the gate/door station to the Internet via wired or Wi-Fi link, create an account at www.hik-connect.com, install the Hik-Connect, and add the device to the account. Once the system is configured, pressing the call button on the door station will set up a connection on the smartphone with the app installed. After answering the call, it will be possible to have a two-way conversation and open the electric door strike or the gate.Visual fault locator (VFL) - the basic way to check a fibre optic cable.
In the event of a fault in a fibre optic system, we may be dealing with a fault in the active equipment or with damage to the transmission medium. In the latter case, the problem may be a cable that is too bent and consequently a broken fibre or, in the case of a fault in a switch / socket / cabinet, a fibre that is too bent or broken or, for example, a broken splice.Computer control from different locations.
In practice, many computer installations are made in a secure room (protected from physical theft), but image viewing and control is required from another point in the building (security room). Unfortunately, the distance of these rooms is limited by the length of the HDMI cable of the monitor and the USB cable of the mouse and keyboard. The solution is to convert these signals to IP transmission. Signal HD HDMI to IP converter H3613 enables the user to connect high-definition signal (HD) to a receiver (TV set, monitor) equipped with HDMI interface, via CAT5e or CAT6 cable. Additionally, there is possibility of extending the USB port, e.g. for controlling a mouse and keyboard. DVB-T2 Y3 PASSIVE COMBO TV antenna with H/V polarisation The A2120 is a directional antenna, suitable for receiving DVB-T2 digital terrestrial television in the VHF (174-230 MHz) and UHF (470-694 MHz) bands. The antenna's universal design allows a free change of polarisation of V/H reception for both VHF and UHF bands. The antenna is made of aluminium, the steel components have been galvanised for increased weather resistance. Black ABS plastic elements ensure structural stability and a high level of aesthetics. The reinforced carrier (main profile) of the antenna guarantees a high degree of mechanical resistance (e.g. against wind or birds). Due to the high gain in passive mode, the antenna is suitable for use in community and individual installations. | ||
