Linear TV is following the Internet – Addressable TV.
Innovative technologies have the potential to replace traditional TV commercials and could become standard in every second TV set worldwide within a few years. Industry experts predict that addressable advertising could completely replace classic commercials in the future. Despite the technology challenges, addressable TV is developing rapidly and can have a significant global reach. Dynamic ad insertion (DAI) allows broadcasters to customize advertising content for specific target groups. This allows companies to target their campaigns to precisely defined segments, e.g. local customers, individuals with a higher purchasing power, travel enthusiasts or console gamers. This technology has been conquering the market for several years now – one example is TVN Warner Bros. Discovery, which introduced Addressable TV in October 2022. Initially, it covered terrestrial viewers with HbbTV functionality, and then expanded its reach to streaming services. In the first several months of operation, almost 300 campaigns were completed using this model.
Transmission of DVB-T2/C signal via optical fiber.
Providers of DVB-T2/C transmission services via optical fiber mostly use traditional optical transmitters and receivers, e.g. the mo418 R82522 transmitter and the OD-005P R81760 receiver. Such connections use only separated cables with single-mode fibers, and the division of the signal to deliver it to different locations is carried out using passive optical splitters.- IPTV streamer sti441C TERRA R81592 which enables the conversion of 4 DVB-T2/C digital multiplexes to an IP stream
- IP transmodulator mix-440 TERRA R81611 which converts the IP stream to the DVB-T COFDM standard or IP transmodulator miq-440 TERRA R81631 which converts the IP stream to the DVB-C QAM standard
Controlling of the second relay with a card in Hikvision modular IP video door station.
If a card reader is connected to the door stations of the modular IP video door intercom system (DS-KD8003-IME1(B) G73652) or 2-Wire (DS-KD8003Y-IME2 G73646), e.g. DS-KD-M G73662, it will be possible to control the first or second relay using a tag. The configuration can be done, for example, using the iVMS-4200 application or a web browser. After logging into the main module of the door station via a browser, first activate the second relay in the Configuration -> Intercom → I/O Settings tab, then select Output2 in the Output No. tab and check the Electric lock option in the Output tab. After that, the second relay will be available to the user. Then add a user, assign a card to them and specify whether the relay Door1 or Door2 should be controlled when the card is presented.
Multimode fiber optic standards in Ethernet applications.
The development of multimode fiber standards is mainly geared towards their use in data centers. The possibility of fast transmission over short distances and the use of spectral wave division multiplexing (SWDM) combined with the relatively low price of VCSEL lasers are the main reasons for the huge popularity of multimode fibers in this market segment.| 1000BASE-SX | 10GBASE-SR | 40/100GBASE-SR4 | SWDM

Application of PoE switches.
A PoE switch is an advanced network device that allows simultaneous data transfer and power supply to connected devices via a single Ethernet cable (e.g. Cat5e, Cat6). Power over Ethernet technology eliminates the need for separate power supplies and electrical cables, which significantly simplifies installation and reduces infrastructure cost.- IP monitoring: PoE switches are commonly used in video surveillance systems. IP cameras can be installed anywhere, even where there is no access to traditional power sockets. Thanks to PoE, cameras receive both, power and a network connection which makes their deployment and configuration easier.
- Wi-Fi networks and access points: large facilities such as offices, warehouses, hotels and shopping centers require an extensive Wi-Fi infrastructure. With PoE switches, access points (APs) can be conveniently connected and powered, eliminating the need for additional power adapters and extension cords.
- VoIP (Voice over IP) telephones: PoE switches are often used in companies and call centers to operate VoIP telephones. This allows the telephones to be powered via the Ethernet network simplifying installation and allowing for more flexibility in office space organization.
- Building automation and IoT systems: modern buildings use more and more intelligent devices, such as access control systems, motion sensors, thermostats and lighting controllers. PoE allows for easy connection and management of these devices, making it a key solution in building automation.
- Multimedia systems: PoE switches are used to power information screens, advertising displays and interactive control panels in offices, shopping malls, airports and conference centers. Thanks to PoE, screens can be easily set up without the need for additional power cabling.

How to connect Sunell cameras to a Dahua recorder?
The ONVIF protocol enables the cooperation of IP cameras and recorders from different manufacturers. It allows the recorder to detect the camera, manage its settings, receive video and audio streams, and control PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) functions in the case of cameras with such functionality. For the camera and the recorder to be able to work together via ONVIF, both devices must support this protocol and it must be activated (on Sunell cameras it is activated by default). In practice, this means that the NVR can detect the camera on the network, connect to it and then receive and save the video stream. With Dahua NVRs, cameras with an active ONVIF protocol are automatically searched for. The process of adding a camera only requires entering the device password. On rare occasions, it may be necessary to add other cameras manually by entering the IP address, ONVIF port (default 80, 8000, 8080 or 8899), username and password.
ULTIMODE OR-30-S3S5S62B-iSMV OTDR/fibre optic and copper network tester L5835 is a device designed to perform measurements and diagnostics of fiber optic connections. It combines the functions of: an OTDR, optical power meter, light source and visual fault locator. In addition, it has the function of copper cable locator (operating in analog or digital mode) and the function of connection map for twisted-pair cables. Thus, it provides a universal installation diagnostic tool for telecom network contractors and others.
LNB cover for a satellite dish arm A9840 is made of durable and UV-resistant materials. It protects the LNB from rain, snow, ice, dust and other contaminants. It prevents the accumulation of ice and snow on the LNB, which can interfere with signal reception.
TandemVu IP PTZ Camera Hikvision DS-2SE4C425MWG-E(14F0) (4 MP, AcuSense, ColorVu) The K17962 is a hybrid camera from Hikvision's TandemVu series, which combines the advantages of a fixed wide-angle panoramic camera and a PTZ camera. The fixed module allows you to observe a wide area, while the PTZ module allows you to zoom in precisely to observe details. The PTZ camera allows you to watch the area outside the field of view of the fixed camera. The model described here is equipped with AcuSense technology, based on a deep learning algorithm that allows human and vehicle objects to be filtered out, resulting in greater operational efficiency and reduced false alarms. The fixed module is equipped with ColorVu technology and has a 4 MP sensor with a focal length of 2.8 mm. The PTZ module has a 4 Mpix sensor with a focal length of 55°–2.4°.
