So far we have seen Spot run, jump and even dance. Now we can hear Spot speak. The video released by Boston Dynamics shows the robot dog with its cylinder, mustache and eyes on. The dog talks to staff members while showing them around the company's facilities. Of course, it speaks with a distinct British accent.
As shown during the presentation, Spot is able to answer questions, and during a conversation it moves its mouth to give the impression that it is actually talking. Boston Dynamics has used the ChatGPT interface from OpenAI along with open libraries containing language models (LLMs). It then equipped the robot with a speaker, added the ability to convert text to speech and made its "mouth" mimic speech "like that of a puppet."
Matt Klingensmith, chief software engineer, revealed that the team had provided Spot with a very short scenario for each room in their facilities. The robot combined this scenario with images it receives from cameras mounted on its body. This combination allows it to generate more accurate answers to the questions it is asked. During the tests, the team asked Spot who its "parents" were? In response, Spot went to an area in the company's office where older models of the robot are on display.
Although Spot may sound and look quite funny, it is important to remember that it has been created for military purposes. However, it is hard not to think about using its abilities in the civilian spheres of our lives as well. The concept of a guide dog is a good example of that.

All Sunnel IP cameras have a corridor mode function, which is particularly useful for observing scenes characterized by high height relative to width. It allows to watch a high scene with one camera mounted at a short distance from the area of interest. For example, if the camera image is displayed in the 16:9 aspect ratio, it will be displayed in 9:16 when the corridor mode is enabled. The hotel mode is a function practically unheard of in DVB-T2 receivers that allows you to block the possibility of changing any parameters in the receiver's menu. When enabled, the user can only view the channel list, change the program, change the soundtrack and adjust the volume. All other functions remain locked and require a predefined password to change. In the hotel mode, the receiver starts with channel 1. It can be used for broadcasting advertising program of the hotel on this channel. The Signal T2-MINI A99313 receiver can be mounted on the back of the TV set using two mounting pads E950231 and cable clamps E952054. The pads can also be used for neat arrangement of the cabling. The receiver installed this way remains 9 mm away from the TV set which ensures good ventilation. The total installation height does not exceed 25 mm which makes it possible to easily hang the TV on a wall using any LCD bracket without the risk of damaging the wall or the receiver itself.
Device groups in the iVMS-4200 application.
After adding the DVR to the iVMS-4200 application, it may happen that the cameras supported by the DVR are not visible in the main view window. This may occur if, when adding the DVR, the Import to group option is not checked. The solution is to add the device again with this option checked or to create a group in the Device management -> Group tab. In this tab you can either manually create a group and import the permissions selected by the user, or create a group by device name with automatic import of available functions. The created group can also be edited, i.e. in the case of a monitoring system the user can add or remove encoding channels (cameras).- SFP module temperature,

Moreover, depending on the implementation of the protocol in the switch itself, it is possible to display messages on the transmission problems and total loss of signal. DDM in connection with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) allows more efficient network management and monitoring of its parameters at physical layer level. It is possible, among other things, due to possibility of defining alarm levels for individual parameters.

IP addressing – part 1.
Exchanging data between at least two computers requires a dedicated computer network to be created. The devices communicate in a network via appropriate communication protocols using transmission media. Not only computers and servers can be connected to a computer network these days, but also CCTV equipment, alarms, smart home components or household appliances.When configuring network interfaces of that equipment, the user is prompted to enter dedicated network settings:
- IP address,
- Subnet mask,
- Gateway,
- DNS,
- Ports (for specific services).
IP address is the host identification number that is used for proper communication between devices. The IP address is a number assigned to a network interface, a group of interfaces (broadcast, multicast addresses) or to the entire computer network, used to identify network components and being one of the elements enabling them to communicate.
Two IP address versions can be distinguished:
- IP version 4 (IPv4) – the IP address is a 32-bit number (from 0 to 4294967295), written in big endian format (data notation in which the most significant byte is placed first). The address is written as 4 separate bytes, called octets, since they have eight bits in a binary form. Those eight bits give 256 combinations, so each octet represents a number from 0 to 255. - IP version 6 (IPv6) – IP address is a 128-bit number not in decimal but in hexadecimal code. That means that the IP address consists of eight groups of digits, four digits from 0 to F in each group.
