Starlink satellite Internet will speed up.
The SpaceX's high-speed satellite Internet access service is expected to double the speed this year, providing a link with a bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps with a latency of 20 ms. The company is gradually increasing the number of satellites and currently there are over a thousand in the orbit. They provide access to the Internet mainly to the residents of North America and Great Britain. Elon Musk, the company's founder, plans to cover most of the Earth's surface by the end of this year, and global coverage will be offered in 2022. Along with the development of both satellite and terrestrial infrastructure, the performance of the offered connection are improving. The satellites are launched into space by reusable Falcon 9 rockets, the first part of which can land by itself and be reused. The first one was launched in 2019 from the Air Force base at Cape Canaveral in Florida, carrying 60 Starlink satellites into orbit around the Earth. So far, a number of missions have been successfully completed and the cost of launching a satellite is significantly reduced by reusing the rockets.
A single Starlink satellite has several broadband antennas and a solar panel for powering the equipment, as well as a system for navigation in space. For orbital maneuvers, the satellite uses a Krypton Hall effect thruster.

The Starlink internet subscription is similar around the world and costs around USD 100. On top of that, there is an equipment fee of USD 700 shipping included. The purchase cost and fees are much higher than, for example, for a mobile subscription, but the service is dedicated to areas where there is no possibility of connecting a stable and fast link from the ground infrastructure. The prices may drop even further, as this is still the initial phase of the project.
Passive optical network in a building – cabling and distribution frames.
To provide FTTH (Fiber To The Home) service throughout the apartment building, fiber optic cable has to be connected to each subscriber. The most popular cabling method in buildings is the star topology, in which fiber optic cables are led from the distribution frame to each apartment. However, this requires a large amount of space in the shaft and may cause some problems when splicing the main distribution frame (a large number of cables). Therefore, another method of choice is to install the distribution boxes in the cable shaft on each floor. Independent fiber optic cables run from the distribution frame to the distribution boxes on the floors. Then the fibers run directly to the subscriber and are terminated with termination boxes, e.g. ULTIMODE TB-02H L5302.Distribution boxes are often installed in a confined space, so they should be small in size, easy to install and maintain. These requirements are met by ULTIMODE L5404 boxes allowing for the easy organization of up to 4 fibers.
All the fibers distributed in a building go from a distribution frame usually located on the lowest floor (basement). It is the node which connects the internal network with external infrastructure. An example is the ULTIMODE TB-48B L5448 frame.

House amplifiers in SMATV systems.
One of the key parts of a coaxial path in cable networks are broadband amplifiers. They are mainly designed to amplify the higher frequency RF signal so as to enable its further distribution (loss compensation on passive network elements: cabling, splitters, sockets). Broadband amplifiers are devices enabling the transmission of signals in the forward (to the subscriber) and reverse (from the subscriber) directions. The implementation of 5G technology on the released 700 MHz band, so far used by DVB-T digital terrestrial television, resulted in the expansion of DIPOL offering with new models of house amplifiers with an integrated signal filter LTE 700.TERRA house amplifiers

A device can be easily removed from an account via:
- application SADP (from version 3.0.2.4) – after selecting the device on in the list and clicking "Unbind"
- application Hik-Connect – when trying to add the device again
Unbinding a device from Hik-Connect
For the process to work, the following requirements must be met:
- the device and the SADP app or smartphone with the Hik-Connect app must be found in the same local network,
- users need to provide their admin password and copy the captcha code.
The new standard in home Ethernet networks: 2.5 Gbps speed.
The TP-Link TL-SG105-M2 5-port switch is equipped with 5 ports working at a speed 2.5 Gbps to take full advantage of the potential of multi-gigabit networks. The device provides switching capacity of 25 Gbps. The product is designed to build a network at home and in the office to ensure high transfers through the LAN.Key features:
- five 2.5 Gbps ports,
- speeds up to 2.5Gbps do not require Cat. 6 cable (cat. 5e is sufficient)
- modern, fanless design ensures quiet operation of the device, therefore it is very well suited for both, home and office use,
- plug and play – easy installation and no professional assistance is required,
- metal, durable housing and the possibility of mounting on a countertop or on a wall.
Saving photos from cameras in the series I Hikvision IP recorders.
Series I Hikvision IP recorders, e.g. DS-7608NI-I2 K22083 have the ability to take snapshots of camera images according to a schedule or triggered by an alarm event. For time triggering, it is possible to set the time interval in the range from 3 seconds to 24 hours. For event triggering, you can set the time and frequency for taking post-event snapshots. The photos will be taken using the second stream. This solution can be used, for example, to create a history of a construction progress. When scheduled to record continuously on all days, snapshots will be taken at the specified interval for 24 hours a day. It is possible to define up to 8 time intervals for each day of the week and define the method of taking snapshots (continuous, motion detection, event, etc.) for each interval.Configuration of "Capture Schedule" in DS-7608NI-I2 K22083 NVR
===RF attenuator 20dB 5-2400 MHz with DC pass-through R50120 is designed to reduce the signal level in a TV SAT system in the 5-2400 MHz band. It is recommended for multiswitch systems and meters, in which too high signal level at the input distorts device performance. The device ensures very stable attenuation level.
MA-049T FM-VHFIII-UHF TERRA house amplifier R81049 is dedicated to individual antenna systems and small SMATV systems distributing the signal to several outlets, e.g. in single family houses. It is mainly designed to increase signal level so as to allow reception by several or even more receivers. The amplifier has the following inputs: FM radio signal (88-108 MHz), VHF VHF III band (174-230 MHz) and UHF band (470-694 MHz). The gain in the FM and VHF III bands is 30 dB, while in the UHF band it is 34 dB.
TERRA MA-075T FM-VHFIII-UHF TERRA house amplifier R81075 is dedicated to large SMATV systems. It is mainly designed to increase signal level so as to allow reception by even several tens of receivers. The amplifier has the following inputs: FM radio signal (88-108 MHz), VHF VHF III band (174-230 MHz) and UHF band (470-694 MHz). The gain in the FM and VHF III bands is 35 dB, while in the UHF band it is 47dB.

Integration of smart functions of IP cameras with a PTZ camera via an IP recorder. Hikvision IP cameras, even the economic models (except for the EasyIP Lite series), support smart analysis in the form of a virtual line and the intrusion area. These functions can be turned on and configured after logging in to the camera, using the iVMS-4200 client software or from the Hikvision NVR. The virtual line and intrusion area can be used to detect people, vehicles, and other objects. After crossing the line in a defined direction or after entering the designated area, the user can be notified, start recording, trigger alarm output, send an e-mail, etc. Such events can also be associated with a PTZ dome camera and a preset, patrol or route can be launched...>>>more
