Asians are already working on the 6G network development.
No sooner had the 5G technology been implemented around the world than the race began among companies to develop the next, sixth generation of the cellular network standard. Specializing in the construction of network backbones, Samsung, Huawei and LG are the Asian companies having the leading role in this process. South Korea has invested $ 800 million in a research center that will design new equipment and take care of the development of technical communication standards. These are to be developed by 2023. Meanwhile China launched its research and development center as early as in November. Bold steps are also made by Americans who are working hard on integrated circuits dedicated to fast data processing.According to the latest forecast, the new networks are to be ten times faster than the 5G ones, but the base stations’ range will be just 200 meters. This will increase the stations’ density several times, but the miniaturization is an ally here. Shorter wavelength will require smaller antennas, and an entire base station will be the size of a smartphone (the 3G/4G base stations have much greater coverage, but are the size of a fridge). The stations are expected to be located at various points of the road infrastructure, such as street and traffic lights, however, the researchers want to make a step further and install them in cars as well.
Despite the small size, the base stations will have large computing power, since they will work as servers processing data at high speeds. That will pave the way to a new data processing technology and cloud applications.

Telecom businesses are determined to have devices and standards for 6G networks quickly developed. In addition to the benefits from the equipment production, patent rights are also important as a significant source of income.
TRISET PLUS – A+ class cable.
Cabling is one of the key parts of any TV system. To be transmitted successfully, the signal needs to be isolated from interfering signals generated by power lines or parallel TV and SAT cables (crosstalk). Quality coaxial cable should ensure low insertion loss and high screening efficiency. This feature is tested in the 30-3000 MHz range and typically takes values from 45 to more than 120 dB. For high screening efficiency in SMATV systems, we recommend using the TRISET PLUS E1016 cable.Inner cooper conductor with a diameter of 1.13 mm and triple shield:
Al/PET/SY foil (first) bonded to the dielectric + 81% density braid + Al/PET foil (second) bonded to the sheath.
Al/PET/SY foil (first) bonded to the dielectric + 81% density braid + Al/PET foil (second) bonded to the sheath.
TRISET PLUS E1016 complies with the A+ class requirements in the entire 30-3000 MHz frequency range. It also meets to a large extent the requirements for A++ class cables. The TRISET PLUS E1016 cable is recommended for use in systems with multiple antenna cables placed in parallel over a long distance or when power cables are located nearby.
Screening efficiency of the TRISET PLUS cable in the 30-3000 MHz range and requirements for the A+ and A++ class. TRISET PLUS meets the requirements of the A++ class in the frequency range 1000-3000 MHz.
Ultimode Ethernet media converters – system diagnostics.
Ultimode media converters transmit Ethernet signals via optical fibers. These "plug and play" devices require no configuration. However, it may happen that the system does not work.In the event of any problem, the first step of the installer should be the verification of LED indicators in the converters deployed on the both ends of the link.
- PWR - power
- FP - optical path
- TP - copper path
- 1000M - 1000 Mbps mode (some models)
- Link/Act - active optical link (on the left); active copper path (on the right)
- FDX/COL - Full Duplex mode
In case of malfunctions of the fiber optic link based on media converters, the status of individual LEDs has to be checked. If the PWR LED is not steadily on, it means damage to the media converter or, more often, a power supply problem. The middle row of LEDs (Link/Act) indicates a correct connection of fiber optic link (left side) and twisted pair cable (right side). Those LEDs usually flash when data is being transferred. An inactive LED usually means a cabling issue or, in the case of fiber optic side for 2-fiber links, incorrect connection of the Tx and Rx plugs. In this area, the errors are most often made during installation and it is usually these LEDs that will help quickly identify a problem.
The FDX/COL LEDs indicate active full duplex mode (transmission in two directions simultaneously). If they are off, it may mean damage to the cable or, in the case of twisted pair, a badly terminated RJ-45 plug. The 1000M LED indicates that the media converter has negotiated a transmission rate of 1000 Mbps at the copper port. This LED will only go on when a device with an interface that supports this rate is connected on the other side of the twisted pair cable. When this LED is off, despite connecting the device with a 1000 Mbps port, check the UTP cabling for damage.
How to connect a microphone to video monitoring devices?
In CCTV systems it is possible to record video and sound. In an HD-TVI system, the audio module is to be connected to the "AUDIO IN" input of the DVR, and in the IP systems, it is connected to the camera that sends the audio signal to the DVR. The diagram below shows the connection between a Hikvision IP camera and the DS-2FP2020 M1918 audio module.Hikvision DS-2FP2020 M1918 condenser microphone
The microphone has three terminals: two for 12 DCV power supply and one for the signal. The white wire has to be connected to the AUDIO IN terminal of the camera, the black to the ground and the GND camera terminal, and the red one to the positive pole of power supply. In the camera configuration, set the audio input to "LineIn". If the camera is powered by 12 VDC, the same power source can be used. In the case of a regular PoE powered IP camera, an additional 12 VDC power source should be connected to the microphone. There are also cameras with a 12 V power connector, e.g. the K02659 model.

Main components of a modular IP video intercom.
The modular second generation Hikvision IP video intercom is characterized by high functionality and expansion options. The gate/door station can be assembled of different components depending on the needs. An essential part of the modular door station is the main module with a camera. The display module shows information on the status of the door/gate station. It informs the caller about calling action, that the door has been opened, allows selecting the destination contact from the list of residents (max. 500) in order to make a call. If a code lock functionality is required, then a keypad has to installed that allows the lock to be unlocked and to select the subscriber’s number. To open the door using RFID transponders, the RFID reader has to be added. One door station can be expanded by 8 additional modules (1 main module + 8 additional) to obtain different functionalities depending on the needs.Main module with expansion modules in the IP system:
